Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about Archive Price, authenticity, and how Label Savage works.
What is Archive Price?
Archive Price is the price you pay when buying from the designer archive market rather than the retail market. When a designer season closes, unsold stock moves into brand archives and trade channels — new with tags, never owned by anyone. That stock trades at a fraction of original retail. Archive Price is what Label Savage pays at that level, passed directly to you. It is not a discount, a sale, or a markdown. It is a different market entirely.
Is this resale? Am I the second owner?
No. Every piece at Label Savage is new with tags and has never been owned by a consumer. We source directly from brand archives, wholesale channels, and trade-only closeout sales. You are the first — and only — person who has ever owned this piece. This is not The RealReal. This is not Poshmark. There is no previous owner.
How do I know the pieces are authentic?
Label Savage sources exclusively from authenticated wholesale partners and registered trade platforms including JOOR and BrandsGateway. We do not source from individual sellers. Every piece includes original tags, original packaging where available, and passes our internal authentication review before listing. If you ever have a question about a specific piece, email us at hello@labelsavage.com.
Why is the price so much lower than retail?
Because it's archive stock, not current season. Designers close out collections seasonally — the pieces are identical in quality to what was on the floor, but because the season has passed, they move at a different price point in the trade market. Label Savage operates in that market and passes the savings to you. The piece hasn't changed. The market has.
Will pieces be restocked?
Usually no. Archive stock is by nature limited — these pieces exist in finite quantities from closed collections. When they're gone, they're gone. If you find a size that works, don't wait. Join our email list to get early access to new drops before they go public.
What is your return policy?
We accept returns on unworn items with original tags attached within 14 days of delivery. Because archive stock is limited, we cannot guarantee an exchange for the same item — all approved returns are issued as store credit toward a future Archive purchase. Sale items are final.
Do you offer personal shopping or sourcing?
Yes. If you're looking for a specific brand, piece, size, or occasion and don't see it in the current Archive, our Personal Shopping service can source it for you from our trade network. Starting at $75 for a single-item find. Learn more about Personal Shopping →
What designers do you carry?
Current archive includes Saint Laurent, Christian Louboutin, Bottega Veneta, and Valentino. We're expanding to include Burberry, Ferragamo, Versace, Givenchy, and others over the next 90 days. Join the email list to be notified when a new brand drops. We do not carry handbags.
How should I size for Louboutin and other European designers?
Christian Louboutin runs small and narrow. We recommend sizing up a half to full size from your standard US size. When in doubt, size up. All individual product listings include fit notes where relevant. Still unsure? Email hello@labelsavage.com with the style and your measurements — we'll advise.
How do I get early access to drops?
Join the Archive email list. Every new drop goes to subscribers 24 hours before it's live on the site. Archive stock is limited — early access is how you don't miss your size. Sign up at the bottom of any page or click here.
